Since the year 1999 when I started painting it has become an essential part of my life. On these pages I would like to show some of paintings. They are all of a very personal nature because they reflect my thoughts and feelings. The colours play an important role in these paintings. They are chosen by me intuitively and express my soul life. I don't want to just copy something. I want to allow a painting to evolve, to flow and show something that is original. Meditation helps me during this process of transforming my feelings into colour patterns. Some paintings need a long time to develop. Other paintings arise quickly just on their own.
I regularly participate in painting courses in order to receive new ideas and impulses. It is not my goal to become perfect but to find my own style and to keep developing.
My paintings appeared so far in small local group exhibitions in 2002 and 2003.
I had my first own show in a restaurant in the countryside in 2004. One year later another show followed at the airport of Bremen/Germany. In 2006 I exhibited my paintings in a small gallery in the centre of Bremen.
1963 born in Cuxhaven, Germany
1980-1989: training as nurse and work in several hospitals, amongst them one hospital in Geneva/Switzerland.
1990-1992: Training as office manager
Since 1992 employment in various enterprises
Since 1999 participation in various artistic courses (painting, drawing, soapstone)
Since 2003 participation in regular artistic courses, especially with the painter Amadou Diallo (Berlin)
2006 journey to the US, participation at a workshop with the German painter Christian von Grumbkow.
